Anixter Center provides
professional training sessions on a wide variety of topics related to
disability issues. The Anixter Center Training Institute provides learning
opportunities for our employees, as well as for individuals who work for
businesses and other organizations in the community. One of our primary areas
of emphasis is the topic of Prevention.
The Training Institute
Provides education and training to professional
human services staff of Anixter Center and other agencies. The Training
Institute is also a member of the International Association for Continuing
Education and Training and offers Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits for
all training offered at Anixter Center. CEU credits are also offered for several
professional certifications. For additional

Prevention
Promotes healthy lifestyles by educating and
training people with disabilities and service providers regarding prevention of
alcohol and other drug abuse and awareness of HIV/AIDS and other health-related
issues.
