MANAGER OF EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
Anixter Center North

We are currently seeking a Manager for our Employment Opportunities Program. This program delivers employment services with skilled counselors to assist people with disabilities to find and keep jobs in the community. Programming includes resume writing, job interviewing, discussion of assimilation into workplace culture, job performance and development of coworker relationships.

Qualifications: B.A./B.S. Degree in Social Service, Business or related field from an accredited college or university and at least one year of paid supervisory experience working with special populations. Experience with job development/placement preferred. Valid driver’s license and acceptance as an agency approved designated driver. Must have working vehicle for performance of this job.

Responsibilities: The manager oversees all aspects of the program, including recruitment of referrals to the program, marketing competitive employment for persons with disabilities, developing relationships with employers in the business/industry community and assisting employment counselors in meeting placement goals.
